It's not that difficult to get to the Isle of Harris and can be reached from most places in the UK in the same day.
Tarbert Peir, Isle of Harris
Below are some possible options and links to ferry and coach travel.
If you are driving, you can catch a ferry from Uig on the Isle of Skye, which is linked to mainland Scotland via toll free bridge. This ferry will take you to Tarbert on the isle of Harris, from here it is 20 minutes to our workshop opposite the Horgabost campsite.
Same as option 1, but leave your car at Uig and travel on the ferry as a foot passenger, saving on travel costs, then take a local bus or taxi to our workshop.
Travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow by train, then jump on one of the dedicated coaches timed to arrive to meet ferry departures and arrivals.
There are of course other possible ways to arrive, like flying to the isle of Lewis, then make your way to Harris, which is joined to Harris by road.
If you need any help or advice with your travel arrangments, we will of course be here to help.
